Brasília - The Building of a Dream by Rodrigo Astiz

Brasília is more than the capital of Brazil. It is a symbol of courage and overcoming. Brasília - The Building of a Dream presents the saga of the birth of a city made in a little more than a 1,000 days. The challenge of building, the bravery of candangos and bold design are narrated by the protagonists of the story: Oscar Niemeyer, the architect who dreamed of the city.  John Courage, candango who excavated the foundations. And so we come to today, with reports from residents of different social classes, urban planners, and politicians. Each a part of the city’s history. It is also the city where they live.

The documentary, directed by Rodrigo Astiz and Peter Gorski is a co-production and Discovery Channel Mixer.
