On camera bags

Trying to find one I like is really frustrating. The vast majority of camera bags seem to be for DSLR users who want to lug around several enormozooms so they’re mostly backpacks or sling packs. The few shoulder bags around are usually too deep and bulky for my liking, or they’re made out of shiny rustly nylon and noisy velcro with a big logo. And ones that seem a decent size and have lots of compartments can be surprisingly inflexible in terms of putting everyday items in them. There are probably a couple of Domkes that would suit but the prices in the UK are silly. Bah!
