Electrical Engineering and Architecture Building, University of Nottingham, Nottingham, England (circa 1966)

Two departments at the university were brought together in the 15 storey building designed by Andrew Renton, with the Department of Architecture occupying the top 5 floors and the lower floors being occupied by the Department of Electrical Engineering. The building has a central services core allowing for partition walls to be added where the departments need.

The building is still there but I think it’s all engineering now. The architecture department moved in the 90s, ending the running joke that the University had put them at the top of a tower block as an act of revenge.
